Welcome to Buon Gusto, where authentic Italian flavours come to life in the heart of Harrogate. Since opening our doors in June 2017, our mission has been to offer a dining experience that feels as warm and inviting as a traditional Italian home.

Our Head Chef - Salvatore

Born and raised in Sicily, Salvatore's culinary journey began at 13, working in a local pizzeria. By 17, he was managing his own kitchen section as a Chef de Partie. His passion led him to the UK in 2000, where he rose to Head Chef at a renowned Italian restaurant in London.

Eager to expand his skills, he spent several years in France mastering new techniques before returning to the UK in 2020. Now at Buon Gusto, Salvatore brings a lifetime of experience and authentic Italian flavor to every dish he creates.
